In working with children, adolescents, and adults I hold a treatment philosophy of first building genuine, therapeutic rapport with person-centered modalities. I find that people respond well to authentic displays of my own personality in order for trust to be built.

Professional Background
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in child/adolescent and adult individual and family therapy. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with a trauma focus.   
I received my undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin and completed my graduate work at The University of Houston Clear Lake.

Practice Philosophy

As an individual and family therapist, my approach to counseling is client-centered with an emphasis on cognitive-behavioral therapy and family systems.

I received my undergraduate degrees at both Colorado State University and North Texas State and completed my graduate work at Pepperdine University in California.   I am also a member of the American Counseling Association.
